Job Description

The Senior Engineer Project Manager - Traffic is responsible for leading the design of complex transportation infrastructure projects, managing client relationships, and contributing to business development efforts within a collaborative, employee-owned firm.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design of complex, safe, and efficient transportation infrastructure projects
Collaborate with management and engineering teams to develop marketing plans and proposals
Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients and agency representatives
Track prospective business opportunities and contribute to business development efforts
Deliver client presentations and communicate project progress
Ensure projects are optimized for cost efficiency and risk mitigation

Requirements

Experience in leading projects for designing complex, safe, and efficient transportation infrastructure systems.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification in transportation engineering or related field.
Proven experience in project management within transportation or civil engineering sectors.
Ability to collaborate with senior management, including Traffic Group Manager and Vice President of Surface Transportation Engineering, to develop marketing plans, cultivate and maintain client and agency relations, track prospective opportunities, develop proposals, and deliver client presentations.
Demonstrated ability to contribute to project cost efficiency and risk mitigation strategies.
Experience working in a hybrid work environment, with in-office presence on Monday and Friday and WFH on Tuesday through Thursday.
Completion of a standard pre-employment background screening, including Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history.
