Job Description
A CAD Designer Engineering Specialist responsible for developing preliminary and final designs for water, wastewater, and street projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on public and private infrastructure and campus development projects within a highly collaborative, employee-owned engineering firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing preliminary and final designs for wastewater, water supply, and street improvement projects.
- Collaborate with Civil, Architectural, Electrical, Mechanical, and Structural professionals on multi-discipline projects.
- Create civil designs for public and private sector projects, including industrial, commercial, utility infrastructure, and campus developments.
Requirements
- Experience assisting with the development of preliminary and final designs for wastewater collection, wastewater treatment, water supply, drinking water treatment, and street improvements within the municipal government, manufacturing industrial, and private development sectors.
- Ability to work alongside Civil, Architectural, Electrical, Mechanical, and Structural professionals to provide civil design on multi-discipline public and private projects, including industrial, commercial development, utility infrastructure and facility design, stormwater management systems, and corporate and academic campus design.
- Proficiency in using CAD software for designing civil infrastructure projects.
- Must be willing to work in a flexible work arrangement of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
- Must complete a standard pre-employment background screening, including Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history.
