Job Description
The Senior Accountant - Revenue Inventory is responsible for managing revenue recognition, inventory accounting, and ensuring compliance with financial standards within the company, supporting accurate financial reporting and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage revenue recognition processes and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Oversee inventory accounting related to revenue streams
- Prepare financial reports and analyses related to revenue and inventory
- Support audit processes and internal controls related to revenue and inventory
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve revenue and inventory accounting practices
Requirements
- Candidates must possess a valid EU visa and be based in Portugal.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in revenue and inventory accounting processes.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards relevant to revenue recognition and inventory management.
- Ability to prepare, analyze, and interpret financial data and reports related to revenue and inventory.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems used for revenue and inventory tracking.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively document and explain financial information.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
