The Senior Accountant - General Ledger is responsible for executing and reviewing core general ledger activities, ensuring balance sheet accuracy, and supporting consolidated financial reporting in an international, multi-entity environment to facilitate a smooth monthly close process.

Requirements
Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a focus on general ledger activities.
Experience in executing and reviewing core general ledger activities to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Ability to support and contribute to the monthly close process, including delivering a clean and predictable T+5 close in a multi-entity, international environment.
Strong understanding of balance sheet integrity and the ability to ensure accuracy in financial statements.
Experience supporting consolidated financial reporting across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
Excellent collaboration skills to work closely with the Assistant Controller and other finance team members.
Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems relevant to general ledger management.
Educational background with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Candidates must possess a valid EU visa and be based in Portugal, as relocation assistance is not offered.
Physical ability to perform job duties in a remote work environment, including working from home and flexible working hours.
