Job Description
A hands-on IT and security leader responsible for managing and building the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring cybersecurity, and supporting scalable operations across multiple sites to enable the growth of innovative solar technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily IT operations, including onboarding, offboarding, device management, incident response, and system upgrades.
- Enforce security protocols such as least-privilege access, secure vendor access, and endpoint hygiene across office, lab, and shared environments.
- Design and implement network standards, shared workstations, and secure remote/vendor access for new manufacturing sites.
- Develop documentation and structure for distributed IT infrastructure to ensure clarity and security.
- Support and maintain multi-site networking and distributed infrastructure, including sensitive environments and international operations.
Requirements
- Have strong hands-on ownership experience running company IT and cybersecurity operations in a fast-growing environment
- Have experience with multi-site networking and the complexity that comes with managing distributed infrastructure
- Create structure and documentation even when the environment is still underbuilt and take pride in making chaos legible
- Have deep experience with identity, endpoint, admin, backup, and access-control systems
- Exercise good judgment around security and least-privilege access in technically sensitive environments
- Support mixed office, lab, and shared-system environments from conference rooms to lab computers to shared workstations
- Be a strong communicator who can work fluidly with leadership, vendors, and non-technical operators alike
- Effectively use AI tools in daily workflow to move faster and document better
