Job Description
The Compliance Engineer is responsible for leading SnapNrack's regulatory compliance, certification and product approval activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute certification strategies for new and existing products including UL, Intertek, ICC and regional compliance programs.
- Proactively monitor changes to codes, standards and certification requirements, translating new requirements into engineering actions.
- Integrate compliance planning into Product Development to ensure certification requirements are addressed early in the design process.
- Coordinate external testing laboratories, certification agencies and engineering consultants while managing certification schedules and technical documentation.
- Maintain approved module lists, certification records, engineering documentation and regulatory change management.
- Partner with Technical Engineering and Application Engineering to interpret compliance requirements for customer applications.
- Support Sales and Customer Care with compliance documentation, customer inquiries and technical product approvals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- 5+ years supporting product compliance, testing or certification.
- Experience working with UL, Intertek or similar certification organizations.
- Strong project management, technical communication and analytical skills.
