LCA Specialist

• Commercial support : Create, run and review LCAs/CI models, engage clients for data collection, and lead due diligence for RNG/biofuel offtakes across compliance markets. • Compliance & audit : Prepare CI calculations for verification and submissions (ISCC, LCFS, CFR, EU RED) and flag risks to ensure timely delivery. • Process ownership : Coordinate across teams, manage core modeling work, and ensure deadlines are met. • Quality & governance : Improve consistency in modeling, validate CI calculations, and act as an additional due diligence layer. • Internal expertise : Serve as the go-to for LCA/GHG topics, communicate insights clearly, and execute lifecycle modeling (e.g., GREET, openLCA). KEY REQUIREMENTS • Experience: 3–7 years in LCA within renewable energy/biofuels, with hands-on experience in energy product modeling under compliance/incentive schemes. • Technical expertise: Strong knowledge of EU RED GHG calculations and tools (e.g., GREET, openLCA), plus familiarity with ISCC PLUS/RSB and GHG accounting frameworks. • Analytical capability: Able to run LCAs independently and translate results into actionable, tradeable insights (incl. counterfactuals like land use change and avoided emissions). • Ways of working: Self-sufficient, proactive communicator who can operate independently and collaborate effectively. • Additional strengths (nice-to-have): Experience with CI optimization alongside developers, regulatory awareness, strategic mindset, and access to an expert network for validation.
