Job Description
The Junior Engineer will support the assessment, financing, and technical management of energy efficiency projects, working closely with partners and clients to develop and implement decarbonization solutions in the environmental commodities market.
Key Responsibilities
- Support prospecting of energy-intensive customers for financing energy efficiency projects
- Assist in identifying EPC and ESCO partners and manage relationships with technical partners
- Conduct technical and financial analysis of energy efficiency projects
- Review investment-grade energy audits and feasibility studies for selected projects
- Develop technical documentation for project tendering and define operation and maintenance specifications
- Negotiate performance guarantees and energy performance contracts
- Establish measurement and verification programs for investments
- Monitor project implementation and energy performance during operational phases
- Ensure projects meet CAPEX, timeline, and technical specifications
Requirements
- 1-2 years of work experience in a relevant field such as energy efficiency, engineering, advising, consulting, or executing projects related to energy efficiency and engineering, tendering, financial planning, or energy performance contracts.
- Good financial understanding for assessment of project financial return.
- Deep technical knowledge to generate value added solutions, including familiarity with CMVP, CEM, or ISO 50001 Lead Auditor certifications.
- Excellent French and English language skills.
