Job Description

You will join a leading Renewable Natural Gas Trading desk, covering Biomethane, Bio-LNG and various other compliance products globally, that is constantly re-inventing itself and pushing the boundaries of what it means to be a best-in-class environmental commodity trader.

Key Responsibilities

Shape and execute strategy for commercial business building initiatives, e.g. geographic/product scope expansion, new end-customer groups, technology platforms, cross-desk collaboration initiatives
Coordinate and support on (complex) high-priority commercial opportunities, e.g. (global) business/investment case development, due diligence, financial modelling
Own cross-desk/function (STX-wide) projects and initiatives to improve efficiency
Prepare and shape strategic initiative and C-level reporting cycle, e.g. annual strategy cycle, monthly recurring governance meetings

Requirements

2 – 4+ years of experience in a strategy (consulting), origination or business development, investment or chief of staff type role
Strong expertise in shaping strategy/business plans, framing up and owning business cases (i.e. business development in the broadest sense), supporting senior management decision making, project management
Familiarity with commodity trading, (renewable) energy markets and/or sustainability topics; ideally in RNG/broader fuels compliance space is preferred
Strong analytical and commercial skills, with the ability to operate effectively in fast-moving and ambiguous environments
Able to manage (various) projects independently and manage complex multi-stakeholder, internal and external, landscapes
Based in or willing to relocate to the Netherlands
