Job Description
The Senior Accountant will manage financial reporting, budgeting, analytics, audit preparation, and ensure compliance within a fast-growing renewable energy company, taking full ownership of assigned portfolios and contributing to the company's scaling efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage assigned financial portfolios and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes
- Conduct financial analytics to support decision-making
- Prepare for and assist with audits
- Ensure compliance with financial and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Experience in managing financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, analytics, audit preparation, and ensuring compliance with financial and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to take full ownership of assigned portfolios and perform key accounting functions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices relevant to a senior accountant role.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools commonly used in accounting.
- Experience working in or supporting a mission-driven renewable energy or similar high-growth industry is preferred but not explicitly required.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
