Job Description
A Credit Collections Analyst at Smart Energy is responsible for analyzing and optimizing accounts receivable and rebate recovery processes, improving credit and collections workflows, and supporting cash flow management within a fast-growing renewable energy company.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and report on accounts receivable and rebate recovery functions
- Optimize cash flow, credit risk, and rebate recovery processes
- Understand and improve the end-to-end credit and collections process
- Partner with management to implement and embed process improvements and controls
- Assist in customer onboarding, cash application, and rebate recovery activities
Requirements
- Reside in the Northern Rivers region and be available to work on site from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, at the Byron Bay headquarters.
- Experience in analyzing data related to accounts receivable, credit risk, or rebate recovery functions.
- Ability to analyze, report, and optimize accounts receivable (AR) and rebate recovery processes.
- Experience in understanding and improving the end-to-end credit and collections process, including customer onboarding, cash application, and rebate recovery.
- Partner with management to implement and embed improved processes and controls across sales, finance, and operations.
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to identify efficiency opportunities and process improvements.
- Commercially minded with the ability to blend data insights with process improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with management and cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.
