Job Description
A Senior Analyst role focused on competitive intelligence, market analysis, and strategic scenario planning within a cutting-edge battery materials company, supporting commercial decision-making and product positioning to advance clean energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the in-house expert on competitor technology, product roadmaps, GTM strategies, and pricing.
- Collect, validate, and maintain a centralized competitive knowledge base.
- Conduct Techno-Economic Analysis (TEA) and market analyses on competitor materials and manufacturing processes.
- Develop and execute strategic scenario analyses to anticipate competitor reactions and provide recommendations.
- Translate competitive intelligence insights into actionable commercial tools such as sales battle cards and training materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or similar field is required; an advanced degree such as an MBA or MS is highly desirable.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or a dedicated market competitive intelligence function, preferably within a deep-tech, industrial, or energy sector.
- Proven expertise and hands-on experience in Techno-Economic Modeling (TEA) and advanced market research methodologies.
- Exceptional proficiency in Excel modeling tools and presentation software.
- Demonstrated ability to operate as an expert individual contributor, working autonomously to structure and execute analysis, and presenting complex insights directly to senior executive stakeholders.
- Ability to independently structure complex research projects and deliver insights suitable for executive decision-making.
- Physical ability to operate a computer and other office equipment, such as a laptop, copier, and printer, in a fixed location.
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: $136,000 to $172,000
