Job Description
The Financial Planning Analysis Intern supports the finance team by assisting in financial analysis, budgeting, and system improvement projects, providing strategic insights to help drive business decisions in a dynamic, innovative company focused on advancing battery technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports
- Support variance analysis of budget versus actual performance
- Participate in the annual budgeting and reforecasting processes
- Help build and maintain financial models for strategic planning
- Engage with business units to understand their financial needs
- Assist with data extraction and entry in financial systems
- Contribute to projects aimed at improving financial systems and processes
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Ability to conduct financial analysis and present data clearly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
