Job Description
A construction planning specialist responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing project plans for complex construction projects, ensuring timely delivery, scalability, and continuous improvement through innovative solutions and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the project plan for one or more construction projects, ensuring effective execution and mitigation of delays.
- Ensure the project team understands and focuses on the plan to achieve project objectives.
- Provide actionable reports to stakeholders to facilitate efficient project delivery.
- Develop scalable, repeatable best practices, tools, and solutions to address common project problems.
- Support the professional and personal development of team members and educate clients to improve project outcomes.
Requirements
- A construction engineering background
- At least 2 years of experience on construction projects
- Proficiency in written and verbal English communication skills
- Charisma and influence to get construction people to do new things and take the best approach
- Proactive leadership capabilities, including leading oneself and challenging others by asking the right questions
- A track record of making projects and organizations better beyond just doing the basics, including implementing scalable, repeatable solutions that had a significant positive impact
