Job Description
The role involves leading and innovating in construction project planning and controls, coaching teams, and setting strategic direction to improve project delivery through technology and best practices within a dynamic, people-focused organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and set the strategic direction for the planning and project controls team.
- Ensure the delivery of impactful, innovative project planning solutions.
- Coach and develop team members to reach their full potential.
- Manage client relationships and oversee project delivery across infrastructure and complex building projects.
- Utilize expert-level skills in Primavera P6 or Asta to develop and maintain project schedules.
- Analyze project data and leverage coding skills to improve planning processes.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to guide project planning and problem-solving.
- Lead the implementation of innovative solutions to improve project outcomes and team performance.
Requirements
- A construction engineering background.
- Over 10 years of experience delivering engineering and construction projects.
- Expert-level skills in Primavera P6 or Asta.
- Strong Excel capabilities.
- A solid interest in data, with coding skills being a welcome bonus.
- Strong communication skills in English and the charisma and influence to guide people towards the best approach, even in challenging situations.
- A demonstrated history of leading large teams at the department level.
- A passion for helping others grow, both professionally and personally, and leading by example with a dynamic, people-first approach.
- A proven track record of implementing innovative solutions that created real, measurable impact across projects and teams.
