Job Description
The Senior Project Management Engineer is responsible for leading the entire lifecycle of product projects, including planning, coordination, risk management, and team leadership, primarily in the field of new energy cells or packs, to ensure successful project delivery and communication with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire product life cycle from initiation to termination.
- Develop project work plans, budgets, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate internal resources and participate in project evaluation and risk assessment.
- Lead communication with customers and facilitate team efforts to meet project goals.
- Evaluate project requirements, timelines, costs, and resource needs for new projects.
- Manage and motivate the project team, organizing and coordinating activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above, major in electrochemistry, electronics, automation or related fields
- Experience in new energy cell or pack product development
- Mastered the development process, key milestones and deliverables of power battery products, including the interactive development of the upstream and downstream systems of products
- Fluent English, which can be used as the working language
- Able to quickly evaluate the cycle, human resource requirements, cost and other information of new projects based on project experience
- Able to assist the company’s sales and customers to communicate the project business
- Able to lead the project, and take charge of the whole life cycle management of the product, including from project initiation to product life cycle termination
- Responsible for the development of project work plan, project capital budget, key milestones and project deliverables
- Assist in the completion of product scheme design, testing and verification, project summary and data archiving
- Coordinate internal resources such as R&D, production and procurement during project implementation
- Participate in project evaluation and risk assessment, predict and grade potential project risks, promote problem solving, and formulate adjustment plans and emergency strategies
- Coordinate customer needs externally
- Lead the team to achieve project goals with excellent communication and coordination ability and professional ability
- Project team management skills: able to integrate, organize, coordinate, motivate and lubricate the project team
- Ability to identify and employ people and evaluate the team
