Job Description
The Equipment Development Engineer is responsible for importing, installing, commissioning, and managing lithium electric equipment, ensuring project coordination and technical validation throughout the equipment development and integration process.
Key Responsibilities
- Import equipment according to capacity planning requirements
- Provide technical input, confirmation, benchmarking, and oversee equipment manufacture, installation, commissioning, acceptance, and delivery
- Track, coordinate, and manage the project schedule for new equipment introduction
- Follow up on construction and internal installation progress to ensure site meets equipment installation requirements
- Collect and organize engineering data post-equipment import and produce management files
Requirements
- At least 3 years relevant experience in equipment development or related fields.
- Bachelor degree or above in a relevant discipline.
- Experience in importing specific equipment and familiarity with the basic knowledge and principles of mechanical, electrical, and other automation equipment of lithium electric equipment.
- Project experience in importing equipment and familiarity with project management processes and methods.
- Proficiency in CAD drawing and office software, and familiarity with equipment design and production.
- Familiar with the development of lithium equipment industry and suppliers, and have relevant supplier resources and management experience.
- Ability to import equipment according to the company's capacity planning requirements.
- Responsible for technical input, technical confirmation, technical benchmarking, equipment manufacture, installation, commissioning, acceptance, and delivery.
- Responsible for tracking, coordinating, and managing the project schedule of new equipment introduction.
- Familiar with the principle and core requirements of lithium electric equipment (preferred).
- Responsible for following up the construction and internal installation progress, and confirming whether the site construction meets the equipment installation requirements.
- Collect and sort out related engineering data after new equipment is imported, and output related equipment management files.
- Good teamwork skills and good communication skills.
- Hard-working with a strong sense of responsibility.
