Job Description
The role involves leading the development and commercialization of next-generation battery products by integrating research, customer requirements, and manufacturing processes, with a focus on electrochemistry, materials science, and system-level innovation in a cutting-edge AI-driven battery technology company.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead OEM customer programs and serve as the primary technical interface between customers, R&D, manufacturing, and quality teams.
- Develop and manage the technical roadmap for next-generation battery platforms aligned with customer requirements and business strategy.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept to validation, ensuring quality and manufacturability.
- Drive process and product optimization efforts, including DOE design and failure analysis, to scale technology from lab to prototype.
- Translate battery concepts into manufacturable solutions suitable for mass production and customer delivery.
- Apply electrochemical engineering, materials chemistry, and interfacial science expertise to solve product development challenges.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrochemical Engineering, or a closely related field
- Deep experience at a top management level or senior technical capacity in product platforms and leading OEM client projects
- Strong background in electrochemical engineering, materials chemistry, and interfacial science within the context of next-generation battery platform development
- Proven experience in technical roadmapping, and managing the critical validation stages from lab prototype customer testing
- Proficiency in technical problem-solving, including DOE design and failure analysis for scaling processes
