Job Description
A Product Engineering Manager responsible for leading a team that provides power systems engineering expertise for off-grid and grid-tied microgrids and data centers, managing assets such as solar, energy storage, and control systems to ensure reliable and optimized microgrid operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team providing power systems engineering expertise for off-grid and grid-tied microgrids and data centers
- Manage microgrid assets such as solar, energy storage, switchgear, controls, and reciprocating engines
- Oversee project design, engineering, and execution of microgrid systems
- Ensure the delivery of reliable, optimized microgrid solutions that maximize value from day one
Requirements
- Experience leading a team that provides power systems engineering expertise for off-grid and grid-tied microgrids and data centers.
- Management of projects involving a variety of Distributed Energy Resources (DER) and microgrid assets such as solar, energy storage, switchgear, controls, and reciprocating engines.
- Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer.
- Ability to work in a hybrid role based out of either Ridgewood, NJ, NYC, Los Angeles, or Oakland, CA offices.
