Job Description
The Commercial Operations Manager is responsible for optimizing and managing the processes related to data acquisition, management, and use across internal systems to support efficient deal execution, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration within a fast-growing microgrid company.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and improve the operational processes of the deal lifecycle.
- Analyze, structure, and enhance data acquisition, management, and usage across internal systems.
- Identify gaps and inefficiencies in data and processes and design solutions to address them.
- Develop scalable processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support knowledge management and deal execution.
- Ensure systems and data integration across commercial, legal, development, operations, finance, strategy, and technology teams to provide clarity and insights for decision-making.
Requirements
- Own the operational backbone of Scale's deal lifecycle by analyzing, structuring, and improving processes surrounding data acquisition, management, and use across internal business systems.
- Identify gaps and inefficiencies in data processes and design solutions to enhance data integrity, reporting, and automation.
- Establish scalable processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs) that support improved knowledge management, efficient deal execution, and operational excellence.
- Ensure the company's systems and data work together to provide clarity, consistency, and insight for decision-making across commercial, legal, development, operations, finance, strategy, and technology teams.
- Work a hybrid schedule, reporting to the Senior Contracts Manager, and be based in the Ridgewood, NJ headquarters.
- Possess experience in analyzing, structuring, and improving operational processes related to data management and systems.
- Demonstrate the ability to design and implement solutions that improve data integrity, reporting, and automation.
- Have the capability to establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for operational processes.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of cross-functional collaboration across multiple departments including commercial, legal, development, operations, finance, strategy, and technology.
