SB Energy seeks an experienced Insurance and Risk Management professional to support the continued growth of our digital infrastructure and energy businesses.
Requirements
7+ years of experience in corporate risk management, insurance brokerage, underwriting, insurance consulting, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of commercial and/or energy property insurance
Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure, industrial, construction, commercial real estate, energy, or manufacturing operations.
Experience developing underwriting submissions and interacting directly with brokers and insurers.
Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across diverse stakeholder groups.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience supporting data centers, energy, manufacturing, commercial real estate, or industrial operations.
Experience with renewable energy projects, battery energy storage systems, transmission infrastructure, or power generation assets.
Familiarity with catastrophe modeling, probable maximum loss (PML) studies, and insurer engineering reviews.
Location: San Francisco Bay Area, San Diego, CA, or Denver, CO. Hybrid.
Base Pay - $140,000 - $165,000
The pay range mentioned above is a guideline. We tailor each offer based on your unique skills, experience, location, and market benchmarks—while ensuring internal parity across our teams. In addition to competitive base pay, total compensation may include a discretionary annual bonus and a market leading comprehensive health and wellness benefits package. Final details will be discussed during the later stages of the hiring process.
