Data Analyst - Data Center Project Controls

• Support Cost Managers in maintaining accurate and consistent cost data structures across multiple active projects. • Aggregate, clean, and analyze project cost data to support forecasting, reporting, and decision-making. • Prepare corporate reporting materials, including dashboards, presentations, and executive summaries for senior leadership. • Conduct benchmarking analysis by comparing cost and schedule data across projects, regions, and scopes to identify trends, variances, and key drivers. • Assist in establishing and maintaining cost baselines and unit rate libraries for key data center construction components (e.g., MEP systems, structural, and site work). • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and alignment with project and corporate standards. • Support development of data visualization tools and dashboards to enhance transparency and usability of cost data. • Validate and reconcile data from multiple sources, ensuring integrity and reliability of reporting outputs. • Assist with ad hoc analysis and reporting requests from project teams and senior leadership. • Effectively communicate insights, trends, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Conduct all work with a high level of integrity and attention to detail, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of sensitive financial data.

• Bachelor’s degree required (Data Analytics, Finance, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred) • 2–5 years of experience in data analysis, project controls, cost engineering, or related field Experience working with large datasets and building analytical models, preferably in a construction or project-based environment • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data modeling) • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferred • Understanding of construction cost structures or project financials is a plus • Experience supporting cost management or project controls teams is preferred • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present data clearly to various stakeholders • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Location: Redwood City, CA, Denver, CO, San Diego CA or Remote Base Pay - $70,000-$115,000 The pay range mentioned above is a guideline. We tailor each offer based on your unique skills, experience, location, and market benchmarks—while ensuring internal parity across our teams.
