Job Description

The role involves full-cycle recruiting to attract and hire early-career talent, primarily for sales roles, by developing sourcing strategies, managing candidate pipelines, and partnering with hiring managers to ensure a positive candidate experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for corporate teams, including sourcing, screening, and hiring candidates.
  • Develop and implement strategies to build diverse talent pipelines through various sourcing channels.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand team needs, facilitate interviews, and drive offer negotiations.
  • Engage passive candidates using creative sourcing techniques and promote Samsara as an employer of choice.
  • Attend university recruiting events and collaborate with university sales clubs to attract early-career talent.
  • Analyze and synthesize data to identify hiring trends, obstacles, and opportunities in the recruitment process.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, set expectations, and coordinate initiatives to overcome recruitment challenges.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed data entry in recruiting tools like Greenhouse and provide regular updates to hiring teams.
  • Promote and embody Samsara’s cultural principles, fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of recruiting experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be based in Phoenix or Atlanta and legally authorized to work in the country.
  • Comfortable being in the office 2 days per week.
  • Flexibility to travel 30% of the time for events.
  • Experience with Early Talent recruitment, such as University recruiting, is a plus.
  • Experience hiring for sales roles such as SDR, ADR, BDRs, or account executives is a plus.
  • Ability to create, measure, and scale the right workflow between candidates, hiring managers, and the recruiting team.
  • Proven strategic sourcing skills.
  • Team player with an eye for talent who loves connecting people and opportunities.
  • Able to confidently represent Samsara with professionalism both internally and externally.
  • Target-driven, detail-oriented, approachable, and able to bring up others around you.
  • Previous tech experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with Greenhouse or equivalent ATS experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent work experience.
