Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the global demand and supply planning teams for hardware products.
Own the end-to-end forecasting process for in-market products, including signal collection, scenario modeling, and handoff to supply and fulfillment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Product, Marketing, and Operations to develop and align forecasts.
Translate demand forecasts into actionable supply plans in partnership with supply chain and operations teams.
Manage refurbishment and RMA demand and supply forecasts, working with vendors to meet capacity, quality, and cost targets.
Conduct recurring forecast and supply reviews, communicating business trends, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership.
Establish and monitor key planning KPIs, driving continuous improvement and corrective actions.
Oversee vendor managed inventory partnerships to support company goals.
Implement process and system improvements for forecasting, scenario modeling, and reporting using various tools.
Develop and coach a high-performing planning team, fostering growth and engagement.
Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships to embed planning insights into decision-making.
Lead high-impact projects at the intersection of planning, supply chain, and commercial strategy.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or another relevant analytical field, or equivalent practical experience.
At least 8 years of experience in forecasting, demand planning, supply planning, or closely related planning supply chain roles in hardware or electronics.
A minimum of 3 years of experience directly managing planners or analytical teams.
Demonstrated experience owning demand and or supply forecasts for complex hardware portfolios across multiple regions, channels, or customer segments.
Strong analytical skills, including proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets, and experience building models and dashboards that support decision-making.
Proven ability to synthesize complex data and tradeoffs into clear, concise narratives for executive audiences, including risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
Track record of cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Finance, Product, and Supply Chain, earning trust and influencing without direct authority in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to design and improve planning processes, including implementing or evolving S&OP/IBP cadences and governance.
Experience with planning and ERP systems such as e2open, SAP IBP, NetSuite, Databricks, and Salesforce, including defining requirements and partnering with Systems IT teams on tooling upgrades.
Experience planning for electronics or high-tech hardware products and SaaS revenue models, including understanding of lead times, component constraints, and outsourced manufacturing models.
Proficiency with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Glean, Cursor, etc., and SQL, Databricks, or BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.
Experience in high-growth, innovative, and complex organizations, such as startups or public companies, where processes and systems evolve rapidly.
