Job Description

The Renewals Manager at Samsara is responsible for leading and managing the customer renewal process across EMEA, ensuring high customer retention, forecasting renewal outcomes, and mitigating churn through collaboration with sales, customer success, and finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and share accurate renewal results, forecasts, and customer trends
  • Collaborate with Customer Success and Account Executives on account strategy
  • Deliver against renewal targets individually and as a team
  • Manage strategic renewals and complex deals to support team goals
  • Embed a value-led renewals approach and champion company cultural principles
  • Hire, onboard, develop, and lead a high-performing, inclusive sales team

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of sales management experience
  • Minimum of 8 years of overall sales experience
  • Experience of working with high volume SMB, Mid-Market (MM), to large Enterprise customers across EMEA markets including UK, France, and Germany
  • Exceptional track record, including overperformance of general business objectives and sales targets
  • Demonstrated record of success in a high-pressure, performance driven sales environment
  • Proven history of ability to hire, train, manage, and motivate talented sales teams
  • History of thriving in a rapidly-changing environment
  • Strong interpersonal, networking, and influencing skills with executive level communication
  • Strong empathy towards customers and passion for revenue and growth
  • Experience in renewals and SaaS sales preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
