Key Responsibilities
The Canadian Major Account team is working together to help our clients achieve their sustainability, safety and efficiency goals. We are working closely with Canada’s largest employers to make a positive impact on their operations.
Own customer engagements end-to-end, from prospecting, qualification and trial to close
Leverage Samsara’s award winning Business Value, Customer Success Management and Leadership teams to effectively close large complex opportunities
Generate pipeline through strategic outbound prospecting, as well as receive leads from our account development team
Target Eastern Canada’s largest operational customers
Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices
Requirements
5+ years experience in a senior SaaS sales role
Proven track record of consistent quota over-achievement
Experience handling and owning large complex deals
Comfortable in a rapidly changing, high-growth tech environment
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
High comfort closing transactions of up to $1M+ ACV in size
Experience with building out a new territory and acquiring new high value target accounts
Thirst for learning
Ability to relate to clients at all levels of an organization
Ability to quarterback a large geographically dispersed team
