Job Description
The AR Accountant - Cash Application supports the finance team by processing customer payments, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with payment-related inquiries, providing an entry-level opportunity to develop skills in finance and accounting within a fast-growing, innovative IoT company.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and process daily customer payments, including researching unapplied payments
- Record Stripe payouts in NetSuite and match them to invoices
- Support application of bulk partner payments to customer accounts
- Set up customer and vendor payments, verifying banking details for ACH requests
- Process manual payments following established procedures
- Respond to complex customer questions about payments
- Assist with handling payment disputes
- Collaborate with finance and sales teams to identify and apply customer payments to open accounts
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
- Basic understanding of accounting or financial processes.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
- Ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines.
- Internship or coursework related to accounting or finance is helpful but not required.
- Familiarity with tools like NetSuite, Stripe, or Salesforce is helpful but not required.
- Basic Excel skills including data entry and simple formulas.

Annual base salary range of $62,475 to $84,000 USD
