Job Description
The role involves providing strategic technical expertise in turbomachinery, including steam turbines and expanders, to support the development and deployment of advanced geothermal power systems. The advisor collaborates with the founding team on system design, industry positioning, and moving innovative hardware from concept to commercial reality.
Key Responsibilities
- Support system architecture and design strategy for turbomachinery in geothermal power applications
- Provide technical decision-making and industry positioning advice
- Leverage expertise in steam turbines, expanders, ORC systems, and rotating equipment to advance hardware from concept to deployment
Requirements
- Deep expertise in steam turbines, expanders, ORC systems, or other rotating equipment used in geothermal or thermal power applications.
- A long track record in turbomachinery design, power systems engineering, and industry leadership.
- Experience supporting system architecture, design strategy, technical decision-making, and industry positioning related to geothermal power systems.
- Strong understanding of the geothermal ecosystem, industrial partnerships, and the process of moving breakthrough hardware from concept to commercial deployment.
