Job Description
A Mechanical Engineering Intern Co-op at Perseus will participate in research and prototyping efforts, working closely with engineers and designers to develop and test new processes for manufacturing large, high-performance fiber-reinforced polymer composites used in infrastructure and energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop and test new processes for manufacturing FRPs.
- Assist in prototyping efforts to bring product ideas to life.
- Support research and development activities related to large-scale component fabrication.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering program or related field and on-track to complete a degree that qualifies for a co-op or internship position.
- Ability to work closely with engineers and designers to bring ideas to life, test new processes, and help shape the future of products.
- Experience or familiarity with research and prototyping efforts in a mechanical engineering context.
