Job Description
A Mechanical Engineering Intern Co-op at Perseus will participate in research and prototyping efforts related to the development of innovative fiber-reinforced polymer composites for large-scale construction and infrastructure applications, working closely with engineers and designers to test new processes and bring ideas to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop and test new processes for manufacturing FRPs.
- Assist in prototyping efforts to bring product ideas to life.
- Support research and development activities related to large-scale component fabrication.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering program or related field and on-track for a full-time position after the internship.
- Ability to work closely with engineers and designers to bring ideas to life, test new processes, and help shape the future of products.
- Experience or familiarity with research and development (R D) and prototyping efforts in a mechanical engineering context.
