Job Description
A Controls Instrumentation Engineer responsible for developing and integrating control systems, sensors, and digital-to-physical conversion methods for manufacturing machinery that produce large-scale fiber-reinforced polymer composites for construction and infrastructure applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on the actuation mechanisms, sensor integration, and digital-to-physical conversion of production machinery.
- Collaborate with chemists, chemical engineers, and mechanical engineers to develop and test new processes.
- Design, implement, and maintain control systems for manufacturing equipment.
Requirements
- Experience working as a Controls Instrumentation engineer, specifically with the nervous system of production machinery, including actuation mechanisms and sensor integration.
- Ability to work on methods of converting digital signals to physical actions.
- Experience working closely with chemists, chemical engineers, and mechanical engineers to bring ideas to life, test new processes, and help shape the future of products.
