Job Description
A Controls Engineer responsible for designing and managing the control systems of advanced manufacturing machinery that move, shape, heat, and consolidate composite materials with high precision, enabling large-scale, mold-free production processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and control machinery that moves, shapes, heats, and consolidates advanced materials with high precision
- Own and develop the control systems that operate manufacturing equipment
- Collaborate with leadership to innovate and scale manufacturing processes
Requirements
- Experience in designing and controlling machinery that moves, shapes, heats, and consolidates advanced materials with high precision.
- Ability to own and manage the control systems that serve as the nervous system of the manufacturing platform.
- Strong understanding of control system design and implementation for large-scale manufacturing equipment.
- Experience working with robotics, custom hardware, or integrated systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in developing control algorithms and software for complex machinery.
- Ability to collaborate with leadership to imagine and develop scalable manufacturing solutions.
