Job Description
The chemical process engineer will focus on understanding and optimizing reactive resin systems used in the on-site manufacturing of large fiber-reinforced polymer composites, supporting process development, modeling polymerization kinetics, and conducting trials to enhance material performance for construction and infrastructure applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and optimize the behavior of advanced reactive resin systems
- Model polymerization kinetics of resin systems
- Support process development for manufacturing high-performance FRPs
- Conduct hands-on trials to validate hypotheses and improve resin performance
Requirements
- Experience in understanding and optimizing the behavior of advanced reactive resin systems, including modeling polymerization kinetics.
- Ability to support process development related to fiber-reinforced polymer composites (FRPs).
- Hands-on experience running trials to validate hypotheses and improve performance of reactive resin systems.
- Proficiency in modeling polymerization kinetics of reactive resin systems.
- Educational background in chemical engineering, materials science, polymer chemistry, or a related field (implied by the technical nature of the role).
