Join our team as a Set-Up – Machining and play a key role in keeping production running smoothly. In this role, you’ll lead and support machining operators, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity goals are met. You’ll be hands-on with machine setup, blueprint reading, precision measurement tools, and quality inspections (including CMM equipment) while helping train and guide others on the floor.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment by following plant safety policies and practicing 5S.
Set up and operate machines to run production at specified rates.
Complete and record TPM and quality checks to ensure consistent product quality.
Perform basic troubleshooting, adjustments, and preventative maintenance on production equipment.
Record production, quality, and productivity data accurately.
Run CMM reports and make machine adjustments as needed.
Use precision tools such as micrometers, dial calipers, and gauges to measure and verify quality.
Read and interpret blueprints, control charts, and specifications; convert metric to inches when needed.
Train and support new associates on machining processes.
Apply basic root cause analysis when solving issues.
Work with engineers, inspectors, and maintenance teams to keep equipment and processes running effectively.
Foster a respectful and collaborative work environment while leading operators in your area.

High school diploma, GED, or relevant experience.
Successful completion of the Set-Up Training course.
Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing or machine shop environment using precision measuring instruments.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
The Hourly range for this position is $21.50-$24.75.The specific Hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
