Job Description

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Duties include but are not limited to:

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent, supplemented by successful completion of a high school vocational-technical curriculum in Drafting or two semesters of college drafting, and successful completion of a Basic Math Skills course which includes geometry and trigonometry. An alternative to these requirements is successful completion of the Written Entry Level Qualification Examination to demonstrate these skills.
Successful completion of that portion of the Entry Level Qualification Examination that demonstrates the ability to interpret drawings and visualize the physical form of the object portrayed.
Ability to draw and letter neatly and efficiently as demonstrated by examples.
General knowledge and experience in the use of various drafting instruments and equipment. Knowledge and experience in the use of a computer and computer assisted drafting equipment is desirable.
Valid Pennsylvania motor vehicle operator's license.
Ability to obtain/maintain SSES unescorted access (Nuclear only).
Compliance with Fitness for Duty Regulations (Nuclear only).
1.Satisfactory performance as a Drafter Level I.
2.Minimum of two and one-half years experience as a Drafter Level I.
3.Thorough proficiency in drawing and lettering.
4.Ability to use drafting calculating and computer equipment, including the use of computer assisted drafting to create drawings.
Thorough knowledge of company and manufacturer standards and specifications.
Valid Pennsylvania motor vehicle operator's license.
Ability to obtain/maintain SSES unescorted access (Nuclear only).
Compliance with Fitness for Duty Regulations (Nuclear only).
