Job Description
The Director of Program Management will lead and develop the program management function for REGENT's innovative vehicle development projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery of high-performance, regulated transportation solutions while building and mentoring a skilled team to support organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and lead the program management function for vehicle development programs
- Establish and lead a Program Management Office (PMO) to ensure on-schedule and on-budget delivery of vehicles
- Unify engineering, manufacturing, finance, and operations teams around common goals
- Build and grow a team of program managers and project leads
- Embed scalable project management practices to transition from prototype to certification and full production
- Guide teams through the development of high-performance, regulated vehicles while balancing structure and agility
- Align product vision with technical development, organizational growth, and business outcomes
Requirements
- Experience in architecting and leading the program management function that drives vehicle development programs, including unifying engineering, manufacturing, finance, and operations teams around delivering certified, production-ready vehicles on schedule and on budget.
- Proven ability to build and grow a high-performing Program Management Office (PMO), including hiring and mentoring a team of program managers and project leads who thrive in technical, fast-paced environments.
- Demonstrated experience in guiding teams through the complexity of building high-performance, regulated vehicles, balancing structure with agility, process with pragmatism, and near-term delivery with long-term scale.
- Experience in establishing scalable practices that enable precise execution from prototype to certification and full-rate production.
- Strong leadership skills in establishing and leading a world-class program management function that unifies cross-disciplinary teams including engineering, manufacturing, finance, and operations.
- Ability to develop and implement strategies that connect product vision, technical development, organizational growth, and business outcomes.
- Experience in managing programs related to vehicle development, preferably including innovative transportation solutions or similar high-tech, regulated vehicle projects.
- Proven ability to embed scalable project management practices within an organization to ensure timely and on-budget delivery of complex programs.
