Key Responsibilities
Lead technical programs involving chemical process development, validation, and commercialization.
Partner with R&D, process engineering, and manufacturing teams to define program strategy, scope, and success metrics.
Provide strategic input into technology development plans, pilot plant investments, and capital budgeting decisions.
Collaborate with senior technical and business leadership to evaluate feasibility, readiness, and business impact of new chemical technologies.
Translate complex chemical and materials science concepts into actionable engineering and program deliverables.
Build and maintain integrated program schedules, risk assessments, and resource forecasts.
Ensure compliance with chemical safety, environmental standards, and regulatory requirements across all stages of process deployment.
Help define scale-up strategy including equipment selection, facility needs, and production readiness plans.
Requirements
BS/MS/PhD in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
4+ years of program or project management experience in a chemical or advanced materials environment.
Experience with strategic technology planning and early-stage process development.
Strong understanding of process design, scale-up, and the technical-commercial interface.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent programs with cross-functional stakeholders.
Excellent communication, decision-making, and leadership skills.
Proficiency with tools like Jira, MS Project, and cloud-based collaboration platforms.
