The Senior Human Resources Business Partner at Redwood Materials is a strategic HR leader who collaborates with senior management to drive organizational effectiveness, talent management, and employee relations in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with leaders to align people strategy with organizational objectives and growth plans
Advise leaders on workforce, organizational design, talent, and performance matters
Translate business needs into scalable HR solutions in a dynamic environment
Guide leaders on employee relations issues, applying employment practices and laws
Influence outcomes through credibility and persuasion, balancing employee experience with business needs
Advise on talent strategies, leadership development, succession planning, and performance management
Coach managers on developing high-performing, engaged teams
Represent HR perspectives in cross-functional and senior-level discussions
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources or a related field
8 years of progressive HR experience, including advanced HR Business Partner roles in complex organizations
Deep, demonstrated expertise in HR principles, employment practices, employee relations, and organizational development
Proven ability to evaluate complex situations, synthesize data, and exercise sound judgment across multiple variables and competing priorities
Comfortable operating in ambiguity, developing new approaches, and solving problems where precedent or direction may be limited
Highly credible advisor to leaders at all levels, with strong communication and persuasive skills that connect HR strategies to broader business objectives
Operates with independence, accountability, and resilience, demonstrating maturity, discretion, and sound judgment in high stakes or sensitive matters
Business-oriented, pragmatic, and solutions-focused, thriving in fast-paced, growth-oriented, and technically complex environments while building scalable people practices aligned with Redwood’s mission and values
