Job Description
The Senior Human Resources Business Partner at Redwood Materials is a strategic HR leader who collaborates with senior management to drive organizational effectiveness, talent management, and employee relations in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders to align people strategy with organizational objectives and growth plans
- Advise leaders on workforce, organizational design, talent, and performance matters
- Translate business needs into scalable HR solutions in a dynamic environment
- Guide leaders on employee relations issues, applying employment practices and laws
- Influence outcomes through credibility and persuasion, balancing employee experience with business needs
- Advise on talent strategies, leadership development, succession planning, and performance management
- Coach managers on developing high-performing, engaged teams
- Represent HR perspectives in cross-functional and senior-level discussions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources or a related field
- 8 years of progressive HR experience, including advanced HR Business Partner roles in complex organizations
- Deep, demonstrated expertise in HR principles, employment practices, employee relations, and organizational development
- Proven ability to evaluate complex situations, synthesize data, and exercise sound judgment across multiple variables and competing priorities
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity, developing new approaches, and solving problems where precedent or direction may be limited
- Highly credible advisor to leaders at all levels, with strong communication and persuasive skills that connect HR strategies to broader business objectives
- Operates with independence, accountability, and resilience, demonstrating maturity, discretion, and sound judgment in high stakes or sensitive matters
- Business-oriented, pragmatic, and solutions-focused, thriving in fast-paced, growth-oriented, and technically complex environments while building scalable people practices aligned with Redwood’s mission and values
- The position is full-time
