A Senior Financial Analyst in this role will lead corporate financial consolidation, develop long-term financial models, support strategic planning and decision-making, and provide detailed analysis to drive growth and operational efficiency within Redwood Materials' innovative energy storage and recycling business.
Key Responsibilities
Lead consolidation of financial results across multiple business units ensuring accuracy and consistency in reporting
Develop and maintain long-term corporate financial models integrating organizational drivers
Track financial results against plans and provide detailed variance analysis with insights
Build, refine, and manage complex financial models for long-term scenario evaluation and trade-offs
Support annual planning, long-term strategic planning, and quarterly forecasting at the consolidated level
Own consolidated cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning
Support capital expenditure and financing decisions through cash flow impact analysis
Deliver actionable reporting packages and presentations to senior leadership and the board
Conduct deep-dive analysis and provide recommendations on high-impact corporate and financial decisions
Requirements
2 to 5 years increasingly complex experience in financial planning, analysis and corporate-level modeling.
Strong background in long-term financial modeling and scenario planning.
Advanced Excel skills with ability to build and adapt complex financial models quickly and efficiently.
Ability to develop frameworks and solutions to high-level questions and concepts.
Naturally proactive, intellectually curious, and a creative thinker with strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to partner cross-functionally, influence, and communicate with all levels of management in an environment where priorities can change quickly.
Strong ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, engineering, or related field.
Experience supporting corporate consolidation, including leading the consolidation of financial results across multiple business units, ensuring accuracy and consistency in reporting.
Experience developing and maintaining long-term corporate financial models, integrating drivers from across the organization.
Experience tracking results against plan and providing detailed variance analysis with actionable insights.
Experience building, refining, and managing complex financial models to evaluate long-term scenarios, sensitivities, and trade-offs.
Experience developing frameworks to assess investment opportunities, capital allocation, and strategic alternatives.
Experience supporting annual planning, long-term strategic planning, and quarterly forecasting cycles at the consolidated level.
Experience owning consolidated cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning across the organization.
Experience supporting capital expenditure and financing decisions with cash flow impact analysis.
Experience delivering clear, actionable reporting packages and presentations to senior leadership and the board of directors.
Experience providing deep-dive analysis and recommendations on high-impact corporate and financial decisions, including capital structure, liquidity, scenario stress-tests, and organizational growth.
