The Senior BIM VDC Engineer will lead the digital modeling and coordination efforts for large-scale infrastructure projects, utilizing Revit and Autodesk software to support sustainable battery manufacturing facilities and ensure seamless collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
Support the creation and management of detailed and accurate BIM models.
Set up and maintain large federated building models involving multiple disciplines.
Coordinate models produced by design teams, trade contractors, and third-party vendors.
Integrate work from layout teams and tool-line owners for planning and conceptual purposes.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Architectural, or Mechanical Engineering or 5-8 years of hands-on experience in relevant fields.
Expert knowledge with Revit and Autodesk software.
Experience working with point clouds and laser scanners.
Experience in aerial surveying using drones.
Experience in model automations using Revit API.
Experience leading a small team for rapid technical solution rollout.
Experience interfacing with construction and cost control on quantity takeoffs and alignment between Work Breakdown Structure based cost tracking and BIM parameters.
