Job Description

The Program Manager, Commercial Operations at Redwood Materials is responsible for leading cross-functional projects to scale and optimize commercial systems supporting battery energy storage, procurement, and sales, while improving processes and systems to enable business growth in the clean energy industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional projects to scale and optimize commercial systems supporting battery energy storage deals, battery materials procurement, and sales operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement of end-to-end processes including opportunity management, contracting, order fulfillment, and invoicing.
  • Partner with IT and Operations to develop scalable processes and system enhancements across CRM, ERP, and internal software.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, business requirements, and standard operating procedures related to commercial systems.
  • Collaborate with IT, Operations, and Finance teams to identify bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions for business growth.
  • Support change management, training, and rollout of new tools and workflows across teams.
  • Ensure alignment between commercial priorities and operational capabilities as the business scales.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in program or project management, business operations, or systems-related roles.
  • Experience in energy storage, battery materials, or clean energy industries is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems; experience with system implementation or integration is a plus.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions in compliance with ADA, FMLA, and other relevant federal, state, and local regulations, including meeting both qualitative and quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance in line with ADA, FMLA, and applicable standards.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety gloves, helmets, and eyewear, or additional PPE when required.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively on the telephone, including listening and speaking.
  • This is a full-time position.
