A Manufacturing Quality Engineer at Redwood Materials is responsible for developing and maintaining quality standards, leading risk mitigation efforts, and supporting process improvements to ensure the production of high-quality battery materials and electronics, contributing to the company's sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities
Develop process and product quality standards and plans to ensure customer expectations are met
Lead the development of DFMEAs, PFMEAs, Process Control Plans, and inspection procedures to identify and mitigate quality risks
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement critical quality processes and achieve quality objectives
Execute quality readiness tasks for production ramp-up
Maintain and uphold quality standards throughout manufacturing processes
Lead problem-solving teams to investigate issues and implement corrective and preventive actions
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field
At least 3 years of experience in a quality role
Experience with power electronics or battery technologies
Knowledge and experience leading structured problem-solving methodologies
Experience with the development and use of quality tools as well as other quality system elements
Adept with process data acquisition and quality analysis tools
Proficient in statistical methods and ability to apply them
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to execute with a calm and collaborative urgency
