Job Description
The Director of Recruiting at Redwood Materials is responsible for developing and executing long-term talent acquisition strategies, partnering with leadership to build a high-performing, diverse workforce in the sustainability and energy sectors, and scaling recruiting efforts to support rapid organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute long-term talent acquisition strategies aligned with business goals
- Partner with leadership to design organizational structure and workforce planning
- Lead end-to-end recruiting for executive, technical, operational, and leadership roles
- Build and scale a high-performing recruiting team through coaching and development
- Establish recruiting metrics, dashboards, and reporting to monitor talent pipeline and hiring performance
- Create and implement employer branding initiatives and talent pipeline strategies
- Develop strategic partnerships with external talent sources and industry networks
Requirements
- Ten (10) years of progressive talent acquisition leadership experience with demonstrated experience in strategic workforce planning and executive advising.
- Proven track record building and scaling recruiting functions during hypergrowth, organizational transformation, or redesign.
- Experience conducting labor market analysis, competitive intelligence, and talent landscape assessments.
- Deep expertise recruiting for technical, operational, and executive roles in complex, matrixed organizations in manufacturing, energy, construction, or engineering industries.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and advise C-suite leaders on talent risks, organizational design, and capability gaps.
- Demonstrated ability to build employer brands and employee value propositions that attract top-tier, mission-aligned talent.
- Advanced data fluency with experience using analytics to drive strategic decisions and business outcomes.
- Experience with modern Applicant Tracking System (ATS) platforms such as Greenhouse or Workday and talent intelligence tools.
- Exceptional leadership skills including talent development, performance management, and building high-performing teams.
- Full-time employment position with compensation commensurate with experience.
