Job Description

The Commercial Operations Associate supports the sales and operations teams by managing data entry, order processing, and reporting to ensure accurate and timely customer service, order fulfillment, and revenue activities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter purchase orders and commercial transactions into internal systems accurately
  • Maintain and update order statuses, customer records, and pricing details
  • Support invoicing workflows by ensuring data completeness and accuracy
  • Assist with resolving order discrepancies or missing information
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely processing of commercial activities
  • Track and follow up on outstanding requests to completion
  • Perform routine data entry, cleanup, and validation across systems
  • Generate basic reports on order volumes, transaction counts, and backlog status
  • Maintain organized digital records and documentation
  • Follow standard operating procedures for commercial transactions
  • Support ad-hoc administrative tasks and team initiatives

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience in an administrative, operations, or data-entry role
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic reporting filters, pivot tables a plus
  • Comfortable working in multiple systems and managing repetitive tasks
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Experience supporting sales, customer service, or operations teams
  • Familiarity with ERP, CRM, or order management systems
  • Experience working with purchase orders, invoices, or transactional data
  • Able to manage routine tasks while meeting deadlines
  • Clear communicator, both written and verbal
  • Physical ability to perform essential job functions in compliance with ADA, FMLA, and other relevant regulations, including meeting both qualitative and quantitative productivity standards
  • Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance in line with ADA, FMLA, and applicable standards
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety gloves, helmets, and eyewear, or additional PPE when required
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively on the telephone, including listening and speaking
  • The position is full-time
