Identify, qualify, and develop strategic suppliers for electronics, interconnects, and PCBA components.
Lead RFQ/RFP efforts, negotiate commercial terms, and establish MSAs, SOWs, and pricing agreements.
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure supplier readiness for NPI and mass production.
Monitor supplier performance and manage escalations in quality, cost, or delivery.
Work cross-functionally to ensure part readiness, VMI/buffer inventory, and cost optimization over lifecycle.
Analyze BOM cost structure and propose sourcing strategies to reduce landed cost and mitigate risk.
Support make-vs-buy, dual sourcing, and localization efforts across global supply chains.
Contribute to CM sourcing decisions, lead-time analysis, and manufacturing footprint strategies.
Requirements
S. in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or equivalent technical background; MBA is a plus.
4–6 years of sourcing or GSM experience, ideally in EV, energy, or high-voltage electronics industries.
Strong understanding of PCBA cost drivers, contract manufacturing dynamics, and commodity strategy.
Experience negotiating commercial and technical terms with suppliers and CMs.
Highly collaborative, data-driven, and proactive; capable of thriving in fast-paced startup environments.
Willingness to travel internationally to supplier and CM sites as needed (10–25%).
