A Business Operations Analyst in Energy Storage supporting the growth of utility-scale battery energy storage projects by optimizing sales processes, analyzing market data, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, and supporting project development from contract to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
Own and optimize CRM (Hubspot) for data quality, pipeline visibility, and insights
Develop sales analytics and reporting frameworks to track KPIs and forecast performance
Support market prioritization and segmentation analysis for go-to-market strategies
Collaborate on pricing strategy, competitive analysis, and deal economics
Lead cross-functional projects across Engineering, Commercial, Legal, and Operations
Manage energy storage project development from contract to commissioning
Streamline sales operations processes, including proposals, contracts, and sales enablement
Conduct market research and competitive intelligence to inform product positioning
Build financial models to evaluate project economics and commercial terms
Support RFP responses to ensure timely and high-quality submissions
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, finance, economics, or related field
1 to 5 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, corporate finance, FP&A, or operations roles, ideally with exposure to energy, infrastructure, or technology sectors
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel financial modeling and data analysis
Experience with CRM platforms or willingness to become a power user quickly
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and drive cross-functional projects to completion
Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex data into clear insights for stakeholders
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven mindset
Scrappy, hands-on self-starter who is comfortable rolling up sleeves and tackling whatever needs to get done, with no task considered too small or beneath you
Comfortable working in ambiguity and building systems from scratch in a fast-paced startup environment
Support project management of energy storage project development from contract execution through commissioning, coordinating across internal teams and external stakeholders
Support market prioritization and segmentation analysis to guide go-to-market strategy and resource allocation
Build financial models to evaluate project economics, incentive eligibility, and commercial terms
Support RFP response coordination, ensuring timely and high-quality submissions
