Job Description
A Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Specialist Applications Tester responsible for validating the usability, functionality, and security of mission-critical applications, acting as the main point of contact between development teams and end-users to ensure application performance and adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate the usability, functionality, and compliance of deployed systems.
- Own the functional testing process for new applications and enhancements.
- Ensure applications meet performance and security SLAs.
- Gather requirements from end-users and resolve issues.
- Serve as the Point-of-Contact for a diverse user base to facilitate application adoption.
Requirements
- Experience owning the functional testing process for applications, ensuring new applications and enhancements meet performance and security Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Ability to validate the usability, functionality, and compliance of deployed systems.
- Experience actively gathering requirements from a diverse user base, resolving issues, and building trust to drive application adoption and success.
- Proficiency in serving as the Point-of-Contact (POC) for end-user communities for mission-critical applications.
- Strong understanding of security and performance standards applicable to mission-critical systems.
- Experience working with multi-disciplinary development teams and end-user communities in a government or high-security environment.
