Job Description
A Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Specialist Applications Tester responsible for validating the usability, functionality, and security of mission-critical applications, serving as the main point of contact between development teams and end-users to ensure system performance and foster application adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate usability, functionality, and compliance of deployed systems
- Own the functional testing process for new applications and enhancements
- Ensure applications meet performance and security SLAs
- Gather requirements from end-users and resolve issues
- Serve as the Point-of-Contact for a diverse user base to facilitate application adoption
Requirements
- Experience owning the functional testing process for applications, ensuring that new applications and enhancements meet performance and security Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Ability to serve as the Point-of-Contact (POC) for a diverse user base, actively gathering requirements, resolving issues, and building trust to drive application adoption and success within the Sponsor's high-side environment.
- Experience validating the usability, functionality, and compliance of deployed systems.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with multi-disciplinary development teams and end-user communities.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a mission-critical environment supporting applications that are essential for U.S. national interests.
