Job Description
A strategic IT Engineer Systems Architect responsible for leading application modernization, cloud migration (AWS), and ensuring security and performance compliance for mission-critical government applications supporting cyber operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the technical strategy, architecture, and engineering practices for the application development program.
- Evaluate strategic enterprise solutions to support application modernization.
- Lead cloud migration efforts to AWS.
- Ensure compliance with architectural standards, security RMF, and performance SLAs.
- Guarantee the performance, reliability, and security of applications supporting cyber operations.
Requirements
- Provide critical technical leadership for a mission-essential application development program supporting a key Sponsor.
- Define the technical strategy, architecture, and engineering practices that guide a multi-disciplinary team.
- Ensure the modernization of applications through the evaluation of strategic enterprise solutions.
- Lead cloud migration efforts to AWS.
- Guarantee strict compliance with the Sponsor's architectural, security RMF, and performance SLAs.
- Ensure the performance, reliability, and security of applications critical to the Sponsor’s cyber operations mission.
