Job Description
A GIS Developer and DevOps Specialist responsible for supporting geospatial platform modernization, system reliability, and mobile-enabled GIS solutions for the Bureau of Land Management, within a Scaled Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the migration and modernization of the Abandoned Mine Site Cleanup Module from a standalone database to a GIS-centric, mobile-enabled solution using Esri COTS technologies
- Manage and maintain ArcGIS Enterprise solutions and geospatial databases
- Implement and support mobile field data collection tools
- Ensure operational support and system reliability for geospatial platforms
- Develop and deploy new features within a Scaled Agile environment
Requirements
- Hands-on expertise with ArcGIS Enterprise solutions
- Experience with geospatial databases
- Experience with mobile field data collection tools
- Ability to support operational system reliability and ensure system support
- Experience in implementing new features within a Scaled Agile environment
- Proficiency in migrating and modernizing GIS modules, specifically transitioning from a standalone tabular database to a GIS-centric, mobile-enabled solution leveraging Esri Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) technologies
